Here is the map of participating locations for the first annual Capitol Hill Community Garage Sale Day -- June 14th, 2008. Most sales run 9a to 5p. Please post pictures from the sales to flickr with tag capitolhillgaragesale.

Make sure to stop by the community spaces at the Capitol Hill Arts Center (also having their own sure-to-be-cool garage sale) and the JC Mueller LLC-hosted site down on Madison.

The goal of Capitol Hill Community Garage Sale Day is to give Hill citizens a day to rally around to get rid of some junk, do some recycling and meet neighbors.

Here's how to participate:

• Fill out the form to tell us about your June 14th sale.
• We'll compile a list and create a map to let everybody know where to shop.
• We have two community locations to host sales for apartment dwellers, etc.
• Capitol Hill Arts Center will be hosting their own sale along with a public space for sales (near 12th and Pine).
• JC Mueller LLC is hosting a public space at the old Deano's location near Madison and East Denny. Free coffee and donuts, too :)
• Limited space in both community locations so sign up soon!
• Clean out your closets.
• Have a fun sale, meet your neighbors, take pictures.
